Hebrews 9:14-15

Because we are followers of Jesus Christ, His death on the cross accomplished for us what we could never do for ourselves. Jesus paid the ultimate and infinite price for our redemption. So powerful and complete was Christ’s atoning sacrifice that even our very consciences should be free from doubting the sufficiency of His grace and the completeness of His atonement. Jesus declared, “It is finished!”, so we must put away the idea of adding self-efforts and religious works to what Christ has done for us. Christ accomplished everything that God requires for our salvation. Religion says, “Do,“ but God looked at His Son on the cross and said, “Done!“ He offers us salvation as a free gift through faith and His Son, Jesus Christ. No matter how great your sins against God and others might be, when it comes to His grace, it’s always so much more.
